SERGIO RAMOS will face his former loves Real Madrid tonight when Paris Saint-Germain resume their Champions League campaign.

But he won’t be the only one, with Angel Di Maria, Keylor Navas and Achraf Hakimi all facing their old employers from LaLiga.

After an injury-blighted start to life in France, Ramos is finally showing the form that made him a Los Blancos legend.

And a combined XI of players to have played for both clubs makes pretty impressive reading.

In goal is Keylor Navas. The 35-year-old Chilean has surprisingly being preferred to summer signing Gianluigi Donnarumma for much of this season.

Navas joined Real Madrid in 2014 from Levante before leaving for PSG in 2019.

Ramos, who played 469 times for Real Madrid, is joined at the back by Gabriel Heinze and Achraf Hakimi.

Heinze played foir two seasons for Real after leaving Manchester United in 2007.

He played for PSG before his Old Trafford adventure.

Hakimi is regarded as one of the finest right-backs out there right now and stars in Ligue 1. He hardly featured for Real before being shipped out to Inter Milan in 2020.

Claude Makelele and Lassana Diarra make up a solid-looking central midfield.

Makelele is regarded as one of the best ever defensive midfielders. He played for three seasons at the Bernabeu before his trophy-laden stint with Chelsea between 2003-2008.

He left Stamford Bridge for PSG in 2008 playing three seasons in France.

Diarra made a surprise move to Real Madrid from Portsmouth in 2009. he featured 87 times for the Spaniards.

Diarra ended his career back in his home city of Paris in 2018.

David Beckham occupies the right-midfield role. After 11 years at Manchester United the Londoner joined Real Madrid for around £32m in 2003 to become a ‘galactico’.

After four years in LaLiga, Becks moved to LA Galaxy and had two loan spells with AC MIlan before finishing his career with PSG.

On the left-hand side is Angel Di Maria. The Argentine flopped at Manchester United after joining from Real in 2014, lasting one season.

But he has been at PSG since 2015 and regarded as one of their best ever players – still turning it on at the age of 34.

Pablo Sarabia will support the front two in our star-studded XI. The 29-year-old is currently on loan at Sporting Gijon from PSG.

Sarabia didn’t play a single game for Real Madrid before being sold to Getafe. He then joined Sevilla before winding up at the Parc des Princes in 2019, where he played 50 games.

Enigmatic striker Nicolas Anelka will lead the forward line.

The Frenchman actually started his career at PSG in 1996 before joining Arsenal for £500,000 in 1997.

Real Madrid paid the Gunners £22.3m to prise him to Spain in 1999 but after one season he was flogged to PSG for around the same price.

Alongside Anelka is Jese Rodriguez.

The former Stoke man played 63 times for Real, scoring 16 times between 2011-16.

He then moved to PSG, where he spent a largely forgettable four years, being loaned out. The 28-year-old is currently playing for Las Palmas.
